ABOUT US

Who We Are and Origin of Scroll N Pen

James and Robin Capers are artists and writers. They apply their creativity and artistry to writing blogs, stage plays, screenplays, articles, and eBooks. James and Robin write separately and individually as well as collaboratively. Moreover, James draws and paints using various media.

Our Heavenly Father planted the seed for Scroll N Pen Productions in 1996 when He introduced James and Robin to the Internet and instructed them to use Web sites to communicate His messages with the world. He took them to the writings of a favorite prophet, Isaiah:

The LORD said to me, “Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz (Literally: Speed the Spoil, Hasten the Booty)” (New International Version, Isaiah 8:1).

Since 1996, our Heavenly Father expanded His directive by showing James and Robin that writing encompasses many forms such as: Novels, short stories, booklets, pamphlets, Web sites and blogs with their pages of content, social networks, screenplays, stage plays, poetry, and even research papers and essays. He has also shown them that the scroll refers not only to scrolling Web pages on desktop and laptop computer screens but to all devices that have screens, including smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, TVs, and the silver screen. All devices where letters, words, and images move across our view and engage our attention can show text, graphics, photos, cartoons, videos, films, and movies.

In 1999, our Heavenly Father gave James and Robin the name, Scroll N Pen, as an identity for these activities. That prompted them to obtain the domain name, ScrollNPen.com, for their Internet home.

In 2000, our Heavenly Father further expanded His Directive: “Tell the Story!” Since then, He has revealed that telling encompasses producing sound for the hearing and images for the sighted. In addition to speech, this includes all sounds that are used to communicate messages. Thus, our Heavenly Father expanded Scroll N Pen’s media channels, technologies, and methodologies. In current, modern times, we also have the benefit of digital media for audio and video production, viewing, and listening.

It is clearly evident that our Heavenly Father created Scroll N Pen Productions to tell HIS Story. He defines it, declares its purpose, and continually expands it to increase its scope and its reach.
